These images were taken of one of the Main halls of the Nelson Atkins where you enter to go down the stairs. The space itself seems to be modeled after romanesque influences with columns that seem monumental. The architecture of this space is carefully designed to feel spacious and large. The light fixtures are something that interests me as something that is able to bring light and collectively bring the space together. The ceiling as well has metal reliefs adorning each panel. The walls itself have marble panels.
